Pounce ("the app") is operated by WSO Digital ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the app handles and how. Pounce is a cat-training app; you don't create an account to use it, and your training progress lives on your device.
Onboarding answers and cat profile. During setup you answer questions about your cat (name, age range, sex, personality, behavior concerns, training goals, your household and daily routine). We store these answers on our servers so we can understand how people use Pounce and improve the training plans. They are linked to a random app identifier, not to your name or email.
Usage analytics. We collect events about how the app is used — screens viewed, sessions started and completed, features tapped — through PostHog, an analytics provider. This data is linked to a random identifier generated on your device.
Purchase information. Subscriptions are processed by Apple. Our subscription-management provider, RevenueCat, receives your purchase history and subscription status linked to the same random identifier. We never see or store your payment card details — Apple handles all payment processing.
What we do NOT collect. We do not collect your name, email address, contacts, precise location, or photos (a cat photo you add to a profile stays on your device). We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites, and we do not show ads.
We use a small number of service providers to run Pounce:
These providers process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. We do not sell your data.
Your training plan, progress, streaks, journal, moments, and cat photos are stored locally on your device. If you delete the app, that data is deleted with it. You can also erase it anytime in Settings → Reset local data, and export a copy with Settings → Export data.
Server-side data (onboarding answers, analytics events, subscription events) is retained while we operate the service. To request deletion of the server-side data associated with your install, email us at the address below from the app's Settings screen and include the request; because data is keyed to a random identifier rather than your identity, deleting the app and resetting local data also severs the link between you and any stored data.
Pounce is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
