Mood Astrology is published by WSO Digital Inc. ("we," "us," "our"). This policy explains what the Mood Astrology app collects, why, who else sees it, and what you can control. It is written in plain language on purpose.

The short version

• Without an account, nothing leaves your phone except what Apple and our subscription provider need to sell you a subscription. Your birth details, chart and connections stay on your device.
• An account is optional. It backs up your chart and connections and lets the app write Transit readings for your chart. With Mood Astrology Pro, it also lets you use Celeste (the in-app astrology guide) and Synastry readings.
• To write those readings and power Celeste, we use Anthropic, an AI service. We share your birth details and chart, the birth details of people you add, and your messages to Celeste. You agree to this when you create an account, and it is the reason the account exists. Your data is never used to train AI models and is never sold.
• You can delete your account, and everything stored with it, inside the app.

What we collect

If you don't create an account

• Everything you enter stays on your device: your birth details, your chart, the people you add in Synastry and your settings. We cannot see any of it.
• Subscriptions. If you subscribe, Apple handles the payment. Our subscription provider, RevenueCat, receives an anonymous app user id and your purchase records from Apple so the app can unlock Pro. They do not receive your name, birth details or anything you write.

If you create an account

• Account information. Your email address and a password. Passwords are stored hashed and we cannot read them.
• Sign-up verification. We email you a 6-digit code to confirm your address. We store your email, a scrambled version of the code (never the code itself) and the network address the request came from, to stop automated sign-up abuse. Codes expire within minutes.
• Your birth information: first name, birth date, birth time (or that you don't know it) and birth place, and the chart calculated from them. We treat birth information as sensitive.
• Connections. The people you add in Synastry: their name, relationship type, birth date, time and place.
• Your conversations with Celeste, and the readings written for you.
• Reports. If you report a reply from Celeste, we receive the text of that reply, the app version and your device model.

We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, microphone or advertising identifier.
